Origins - Tropical parts of America.
Type - Perennial (evergreen).

Bloom - Summer, Fall.
Height - Approx. 10 ft (3 m).
Cultivation - Full Sun, or partial shade. Average water needs. Acidic soils. Can be grown indoors throughout Winter months.
Propagation - By cuttings; by layering.
Other - Attractive to bees, and butterflies. Perfect Fall accent plant in warmer climatic zones.
