April Gardening Projects

OUTDOOR PROJECTS TO UNDERTAKE IN APRIL
Enjoy outdoors! Consider these:
-why not, try something simple, yet spectacular? See Sioux Falls bench made of wood trunks (right)!
-fertilize the soil,
-see March Gardening Projects, for tips
-prune Peach tree (if you are passed freezing temperatures, only)
-sow cool crops, such as peas, beans, chard, beets, carrots, kohlrabi, leeks, lettuces
-plant onion sets, and potatoes
-plant tender crops, that you've started indoors, if you are well past frosts
-make your own, concrete, garden containers for displaying succulents, and other interesting plants. It's easy! See practical HOW-TO tutorial from gardenproducts. -Visit your local flea market, -there are always good bargains to be found! Check Gardener's Source section, to see what I found.
