Origins China
Type Perennial (evergreen)
Hardiness Zones 6 - 9, best 8 & 9

Height up to 20 ft (6 m)

Cultivation
Plant Spring, or Fall. Clematis likes full sun, but keep its roots shaded. It likes good, well drained soil. In growing seasons, fertilize regularly, to keep these pretty blooms coming, and staying over long period of time.
Pruning is not really required, but if you do want to do it, please remember, that this season's blooms will appear on previous season's growth, so be careful to avoid pruning any of the newest growth.

Propagation
By cuttings (take these in Spring, and Summer) or by layering (do it in Winter).

Other
Fragrant, and neat avalanche of bloom, to enjoy. Popular landscaping plant.
